Chris Brooks

Chris a co-founder/owner of Behind the Badge PD. He has over 20 years experience as a police officer within the local Southern Illinois area. He has over 450 hours of certified firearms training. Chris has a degree in criminal justice along with hundreds of hours of state certified training. After discovering that he had a great passion for teaching Chris has left law enforcement full-time and pursued a career in teaching criminal justice at the high school level. Chris’ dedication to law enforcement continues as he still serves the public as a police officer in a part-time basis. Chris is the founder and head coach of the Southern Illinois Young Guns youth pistol shooting team.

Jamie Brooks

Jamie is an owner/co-founder of Behind the Badge PD.  Jamie has been involved in law enforcement for 15 years,  9 of those years in patrol.  Jamie holds several certifications from law enforcement and civilian entities and hundreds of hours of training.  Jamie loves to hunt, shoot and enjoys helping people discover the excitement and fun that can be had with firearms.  He is committed to helping people learn to successfully defend themselves if the time arises.

Stephen Miles

Stephen is an owner/co-founder of Behind the Badge PD.  He is an avid hunter and loves spending time in the outdoors.  Included in his passion for being outdoors, he is a devout 2nd amendment supporter and enjoys target and competition shooting.  Stephen is a full-time Police Officer and holds many law enforcement certifications.  He has been involved in law enforcement for 9 years.
